Who is Access Tech VIP for?
We support blind and visually impaired people, as well as support workers, educators, and family members who want to learn screen readers and assistive technology effectively.
Training Delivery Methods
1. Face-to-Face
- Local (Portsmouth & surrounding area): Training at your home or a nearby venue (library, charity space).
- At client location (outside Portsmouth): We can travel anywhere in the UK. Travel expenses (train/taxi) are added to the tuition fee.
Face-to-face training is delivered in blocks of either 4 hours (half day) or 8 hours (full day).
2. At Distance (Zoom or MS Teams)
- Delivered in shorter sessions of 1–2 hours each.
- Flexible scheduling at your own pace.
- Each session is recorded and shared with you for later review.
The total training time is the same as face-to-face: 4 hours (half day) or 8 hours (full day), spread across multiple online sessions.
3. Self-Learning (E-Learning Platform)
Independent study at screenreader.training. Each course page displays its own price and details. Courses include lifetime access and 6 months of email support.
